A New Life in The Metroplex

It is time I update you on what is currently going on in my life. For starters, I am now living in the Metroplex in order to finish my Sociology degree at UNT. I graduate in May. I am not quite sure what one does with a Sociology degree but my original plan of getting a teaching degree would take me two extra semesters to complete. I don't have that kind of patience. Hopefully, I will know what my next step is by the time I walk across the stage to get my $25,000 piece of paper.

Besides school, I've been enjoying the large selection of fine men Dallas has to offer. Since moving back to this area in August, I have met, serviced, and been fucked by a few dozen well-endowed hotties. I am currently planning to host a "Treat a Trick" party for Halloween. When I say, "Treat", I mean breed, and when I say, "Trick", I mean me. I'm hoping at least 50 guys I've never met before attend. My ill-fated yet illustrious porn career may have ended but my no-holds-barred habit of dick-worshiping has not. That I will do well into my golden years.

When I'm not hitting the books for school or spreading my ass-cheeks for sexy strangers, I like to hang out with my friend (yes that is meant to be singular, friend, not friends), explore all the new development in the DFW region, and play World of Warcraft. That sums up my life at the moment. Any questions? Feel free to post your questions in the comment section below. I will try to answer them in a future blog entry.

  2. Good for you Mason! You seem to be keeping yourself busy. Any chance in the world you would be willing to help a noob in WoW? I would imagine you are quite the master of it. ;)

  3. Congratulations on your progress and your upcoming degree. That $25,000 piece of paper will be well worth the hard work and effort you've put into it. And the person cutting your hair is a hell of a lot hotter than the woman who cut mine today. Wish i could be there in the crowd as you accept your diploma.

  5. Go study society? Last i hear there were some company's in Houston that were hiring people with their degree. Something about studying bla bla bla. Main point is your going to be studying a lot of charts and behavior things for these jobs. Also they were looking for interns. Or you could just do like most people do and go get a job at a community college.

  6. You ask what one does with a sociology degree. I don't know, but being the creative man you are, I suspect it will be good. You seem to write well. I think you have a future writing studies, articles for New Yorker magazine or becoming part of a documentary team. You have camera experience already and know how to work it. The possibilities are endless.

Here's an idea. Become the Jacques Cousteau of gay culture submersed in the larger culture and how they influence and change each other.

  8. What made you want to get a degree in sociology? Is there a sociologist who you admire (I'm partial to DuBois)? A book/study you would suggest?

  9. Since you are now living in Dallas, when will you show up on Logo's "The A-List Dallas." You are head (pun intended) and shoulders above the queens on last night's premiere in both looks and personality.

  10. Mason, if your interested there are Master of Education programs out there for people without an undergrad in education. It allows you to gain certification and a master's in about the same time as you would invest to get an undergrad in education. The benefit is that teachers with masters make more money, which can really add up in terms of pension and lifetime earnings. Also, a masters allows you to teach at the college level if you want to moonlight at a community college. Finally, the masters will also give you a leg up if you want to move into administration side of education.

  11. Hmmm... I guess I have reason to start going out more in Dallas if there is a chance I will see you there. So how well hung to you have to be to be considered? 7x6 do the trick? ;-)

  12. Hi there Mason. Congrats on getting the sociology degree, although as an educator myself - you may want to think about other options. It's a brutally tough market out there for teachers and no guarantees that a teaching certificate will lead to a job - much less if a parent of a student googles your name - or finds out you fucked her husband. However, I don't think you were ever that passionate about being a teacher as you think you are. You definitely like to write - and you show serious talent in that regard - and you are a (media) whore, among other whores - but those two passions together and you get a person who writes for the media. Start your own magazine devoted to sluts like you. Write a column for the local gay rag. Write a screenplay about your life or create an online TV series. I tell many kids today - don't worry about getting a job related to your degree - 80% of graduates don't (except accountants and they are miserable). Find your passion and your interests and inner talents and exploit them. It will give you the energy to go far in life. You are one smart, talented kid. Go long, go deep, and touchdown!

  13. Good to hear you are going back to school! I used to live in Denton, from like 91 to 07. Not a bad little town. A food tip: try a little dive named Mr. Chopsticks on Scripture St. near UNT. It is SO good and some of the waiter boys are really cute. One was this hairy little guy that I just wanted and wanted...could not get my courage up though! Anyway, good luck!

  21. So, Mason, will you be visiting Houston (The Bayou City)from time to time? I like the Bayous, hearing the word bayou and what it represents bring me thoughts of mysticism and romance for some reason. I know it sounds corny, but It'd be awesome to have an adventure with someone through the bayous of Houston, maybe with someone such as youself, Mason. I could only imagane the mysticism and the romance such an adventure would bring. -Machester Black (aka mblack713)
